The Minds Matter Chicago community has been significantly impacted by the coronavirus pandemic. In addition to the anxiety, fear and uncertainty that we are all feeling right now, our students have families who are dealing with health challenges, loss of loved ones, and loss of jobs.
While many of our students' home lives have been permanently altered by the pandemic, Minds Matter is striving to maintain a sense of normalcy. We remain committed to helping our students focus on the long-term goal of college access and success. At this time of year, we would typically be wishing our sophomores and juniors good luck at summer programs and celebrating at our spring gala. Although our gala has been postponed and many of these programs have been canceled this year, we are working diligently to create new, meaningful opportunities that will keep our students engaged, and finding innovative ways to continue to raise funds.
We anticipate needing significant support in the months ahead. We are grateful for support and ask that you please take a moment to donate and help us ensure that we will be able to support our students during these difficult times.
